VVAA - our partner in The Netherlands
The VvAA is a member organization and service provider for doctors, paramedics, healthcare students and healthcare institutions in the Netherlands. VvAA was founded in 1924 as a provider of car insurances for medical professionals. Nowadays, the VvAA offers a wide range of different, high-quality products and services for paramedics and doctors. Its members are employed and self-employed professionals, freelancers, but also students and directors of healthcare institutions. The VvAA provides members, but also healthcare companies and institutions, with financial, business and legal advice, guidance and insurances. In addition, they offer coaching, mediation, training and expert lawyers or attorneys.
VvAA’s unique network is also used to help influence developments in Dutch healthcare. VvAA wants to unburden its members so they can focus on providing care and the quality thereof.

Collaboration VvAA & TPSC
In 2016, The Patient Safety Company (TPSC) and VvAA joined forces to provide a suitable Safe Incident Reporting solution for independent healthcare professionals: The Safe Incident Reporting Platform. The platform offers a Safe Incident Reporting form that can be easily completed. Following each report, an analysis document is fed back. Each quarter, anonymous lessons learned, trends and other content is shared with the participants. The platform thus helps care professionals to learn from incidents and from each other.
A powerful collaboration with a clear separation of roles: TPSC is responsible for the ICT component and the VvAA for the content-related expertise .
