First ISO27001 and now also NEN7510 certified!

Updated at: 6 September 2024

We are extremely proud to announce that The Patient Safety Company, in addition to our ISO/IEC 27001 certification, has now also successfully achieved the NEN7510 certification! This accomplishment marks a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to meeting the highest standards of information security.

NEN7510 is a Dutch standard specifically developed to address the unique requirements and challenges of information security within the healthcare sector. While ISO27001 focuses on general information security, NEN7510 places additional emphasis on protecting sensitive health information, such as patient data. For an organization like ours, which is active in the healthcare sector, this certification is of critical importance. This standard highlights several fundamental principles, including:

  • Confidentiality: Ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to medical and personal data.
  • Integrity: Ensuring that health information remains accurate and complete, and is not unintentionally altered.
  • Availability: Ensuring that information is accessible whenever needed by those who require it, without unauthorized interruptions.

By adhering to these principles, we not only guarantee the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data but also provide you as our client with the assurance that your data is in safe hands. These certifications are a testament to our dedication to information security and a confirmation of our role as a trusted partner in healthcare.

With both ISO27001 and NEN7510 certifications, we can now say with even more confidence: your data is completely safe with us. We continue to work daily to ensure that your information, and that of your patients, is protected against all possible threats, both now and in the future.
